One of the first energy efficiency improvements we made to our flat was to replace the old double-glazed windows with new triple glazed ones.
The bedrooms in the flat are all on the north-facing side of the building so new windows could make a real difference there. We decided to go for Triple Glazing over double glazing as we were investing time and money we thought we might as well go for the best product even though the investment would take a few more years to pay off.
When selecting new windows it’s important to consider the U-Value as well as the quality of the frame.
